![]() We’ll have more on Soulstice next week, but if you want to check it out for yourself, a free demo will be available on Steam in August that you can register for at the game’s official site, and you can pre-order a physical Deluxe Edition over at Maximum Games, with the full game coming out for PC, XSX, and PS5 on September 20. Briar has their weapons-based combat skills, Lute has arena-commnading abilities, and together they provide and endless amount of ways to get rid of enemies in what what should hopefully be a rather run action game. The two find themselves reborn as a hybrid warrior known as Chimera, and are now setting out to not only learn the truth behind Chimera, but to fight back the evil Spawn of Chaos invading their world as well. The trailer focuses on the bond between the two siblings that act as our main character, Briar and Lute. ![]() And not only does it look impressive, as seen below, but the new trailer also revealed the game’s release date, with the game set to come out in a few months. The battle awaits, as the teams at Modus Games and Reply Game Studios have issued a release date. But then again, looking at the cinematic trailer which was revealed suggests that there could definitely be something special here, with the type of style and action that wouldn’t seem out of place in a major Platinum Games title. Soulstice challenges players to take on powerful demons and fearsome swordsmen. Not that the game doesn’t look good, but it’s not exactly what you’d think of for a big show-opener. In hindsight, it may seem a bit odd that a more relatively unknown, brand new IP like Soulstice was the game chosen to open today’s PC Gaming Show.
